REAL TAXIDERMY I cannot forget to return to my roots, how I first became interested in this topic. While seeing family in North Carolina I visit a man named Gary Chapman. He’s a taxidermist and shows me and my mom around his studio. His yard is full of hundreds of deer bust molds that look almost exactly like much of the plastic faux-taxidermy I have seen in the cities. Perhaps Chapman could be making a better living without upholstering the molds.
